Sea Lion Chain
These nine Sea Lions swam in a 'Chain' past our boat. It seemed obvious that these juveniles were doing this to entertain us. Each individual in the chain, as they went back and forth, would look in our direction to see if we were watching and enjoying their performance. [Baja, Sea of Cortez, Mexico].

Sea Lion Alpha Male
A Sea Lion alpha male is guarding his harem. The dominant male is the one in the water. Note the large bump of his forehead, compared to the one on the rocks above, which is a mature female. Their skins appear darker because they are wet. [Island in the Sea of Cortez, Baja, Mexico].
